Our general terms and conditions of business apply to all orders placed via our shop and are hence an essential part of the handling of each order.

Bauhaus Stars S.L. is a Spanish company which supplies goods such as furniture and interior accessories to most parts of Europe.

Bauhaus Stars S.L.'s head offices are located in a duty-free zone in Spain and thus enjoy the benefit of not having to burden its customers with value added tax. This allows us to offer our customers the lowest possible attractive prices and TOP quality.

§1 Price Information

Within the most countries of the EU the following shipping charges apply:

00.00 euros to 2,500.00 euros = 10% shipping
2,500.01 euros and over = 150 euros within the EU
Customers from the USA pay only 20% shipping costs from the total amount.

As the customer you can see right from the start of each order process exactly what costs you are required to pay. There are no retrospective price alterations or any hidden costs.

Sundry costs such as customs handling charges (50 euros), import duties and other unexpected costs may be payable on orders delivered outside the European Union. Please contact us directly for deliveries outside the European Union. We will happy to prepare a quote on such orders for you and we will do our best to ensure that your orders are delivered cheaply and safely.

§2 Terms of Payment

You can pay using one of the following methods:

• in advance via bank transfer immediately on receipt of our confirmation of your order. We will give you a 5% advance payment discount of the net value of the goods since we pass on the credit card fees 1:1 to our customers.
• with credit card. We accept VISA and MASTERCARD. Processing is carried out via the secure Payone system. You pay no extra charges and you are NOT required to become a member of Payone. We charge your credit card immediately you place your order and "www.bauhaus-stars.com" will appear on your bank statement as the reason for the payment.

§3 Delivery

As licensing law differs from country to country, we sell exclusively ex-store in Italy.

The goods become the customer's property when they are passed to the freight forwarder, subject to payment as per the agreement. As a rule delivery is carried out within the deadline shown in the confirmation of the order. However, delivery delays are not considered to be a reason for cancelling the purchase agreement. In the case of larger orders, Bauhaus Stars S.L. reserves the right not to make partial deliveries and to make full deliveries only.

The final invoice is issued when the goods are shipped. The customer receives the invoice in PDF format via email.

Delivery charges within the most countries of Europe:

Deliveries outside the European Union:

§4 5-Year Guarantee

All goods sold by us are guaranteed by us for five years from the date of receipt. In order to submit any guarantee claims, it is absolutely vital that you retain the original invoice.

If you submit a guarantee claim, the faulty parts or the entire product will be replaced depending on the damage.

Claims are to be submitted in writing by per email or fax and will be processed according to the production time for the faulty parts.

§5 Warranty

All furniture is sold by model without any assurances as to the characteristics of the model. We reserve the right to sell furniture with deviations in colour and grain on wooden surfaces; this is reasonable and customary in business. Deviations in textiles, such as furniture and decorative materials, in respect of minor deviations to products compared to material samples, especially in the shade, are equally reasonable and customary in business.

In cases of justified complaints, the purchaser's guarantee rights are initially limited to repair; however, the vendor is entitled to supply replacement goods instead of making repairs. If repairs or replacement goods are not successful, in particular if not carried out within an appropriate period or are refused by the vendor, the purchaser may, at his option, demand the cancellation of the agreement (cancellation) or a reduction in the price (reduction). Otherwise liability for assured characteristics remains unaffected. Graining in leather (a natural product) is no reason for a reduction in price or exchanging the product. Products made to order and goods sold at reduced prices will not be exchanged.

§6 Delivery Damage

Please inspect the goods immediately on arrival. Examine the packaging initially for visible damage. Open the packaging in the presence of the driver. Should you find any damage, please photograph it and make sure the driver records the damage in the confirmation of receipt.

All deliveries have been insured against transport damage. Any damage must be reported to us by the carrying company; however, we can only process such reports with your support.

In the case of minor, acceptable damage, please contact us directly and we will be able to find a solution and/or find a mutually acceptable compromise solution.

In the case of major damage, we will do all we can to replace the damage as quickly as possible.

§7 Sales Agreements

We regard ourselves solely as an online shop. Our online catalogue is to be interpreted as a non-binding offer. Any offers do not constitute a sales agreement; this requires our written confirmation of the order and will generally be made in the form of an email.

§8 Reservation of Title

All goods remain the property of Bauhaus Stars S.L. until they have been paid for in full by the customer.

§9 Data Protection & Note on Storage of Transaction Data

Pursuant to EU data protection provisions, information on our customers will not be passed to third parties and will be treated with absolute confidence.

Where customers pay by credit card, we are required to inform them that they should keep their transaction receipt in safe custody.

§10 Copyright

The company logo and the company name are registered trade marks of Bauhaus Stars S.L. All other trademarks, product names and company names and logos shown on our websites are the sole property of each owner.

§11 Place of Jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction is Las Palmas, Spain.
